openEXR output for video animation?

So i'm a Rhino user. My friend was bragging about solidworks and solidworks visualize and it's speed and simplicity.

I played arround 2 hours with his workstation and i have to say i do like the simplicity of visualize.

I noticed when i wanted to test his gpu's with animation render, i could only choose TIFF and HDR as 32 bit file types, but in single image mode i could select openEXR.

Another thingi noticed (compared to my octane) that the images where blurry er. I assume it's the pixel filter. In octane we can choose. Sometimes you want clear sometimes you want blurry (for realism).

He does not care as he just renders images...he didn't even notice it. But i render animations all day long.

I hope i can have a clear answer before i make my move.

I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to respond. I hope there is some config file where we can edit this things.

Cheers joe
